Police cited several juveniles and Isaiah Bell, 19, of the 3100 block of Heritage Parkway, Elgin, for consumption of alcohol by a minor at 1:17 a.m. April 10 in the Courtyard by Marriott, 370 N. Route 83, where they were called by on-site security.
Joseph Galloro, 32, of the 1100 block of East Cambria Lane, Lombard, was cited for possession of liquor in public at 4:24 a.m. April 10, after police responded to the 500 block of South York Street for a report of a man yelling.
Dario Salas, 40, of the 100 block of Michael Lane, Addison, was charged with two counts of arson at 1:14 a.m. April 13 after reportedly pouring fuel on an Audi A4 at Elmhurst BMW, 500 W. Lake St., and setting it on fire.
Hildelisa Guijosa-Montoya, 34, of the 500 block of Carlysle Drive, Clarendon Hills, was charged with two counts of domestic battery at 4:29 a.m. April 9.
A purse was reported taken from the front passenger seat floorboard of a vehicle in the 400 block of East Lake Street between 2:15 p.m. and 2:54 p.m. April 9.
Paper products were reported taken from a storage unit in the 200 block of North Addison Avenue between March 27 and April 10.
A child's baseball equipment was reported taken from a vehicle in the 100 block of East Lake Street between 6 p.m. April 11 and 11:54 a.m. April 12. The driver believes a child forgot to close the car door.
Criminal damage to property
A fence was reported cut at the south end of the parking lot of U-Stor-It, 877 S. Route 83. Reported April 11.
Jose Rivera, 61, of the 2600 block of West North Avenue, Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle (by a passenger) and failure to wear a seat belt at 5:35 p.m. April 9.
In the same incident, Raymond Rivera, 54, of the 2200 block of North Springfield Street, Chicago, was charged with failing to stop for a railroad signal, failing to wear a seat belt and driving without insurance.
Kevin Alcantara, 22, of the 200 block of Bowie Court, Bolingbrook, was charged with improper display of registration and unlawful possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle at 8:58 p.m. April 9.
Dalton Reese, 22, of the 3100 block of Rose Street, Franklin Park, was cited for possession of cannabis by a driver and for speeding at 11:04 p.m. April 9.
Osvaldo Prado, 21, of the 3500 block of West 66th Place, Chicago, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license, driving without a rear license plate light, unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver and driving without insurance at 11:54 p.m. April 9.
In the same incident, Jessica Apaez, 21, of the 300 block of Geneva Avenue, Northlake, was cited for possession of cannabis by a passenger.
Fernando Zamudio, 31, of the 400 block of Fremont Street, Elgin, was charged with driving under the influence, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, illegal transport of open alcohol and improper lane use at 4:29 a.m. April 11.
In the same incident, Hubaldo Alvarez, 31, of the 8000 block of Oakwood Drive, Wonder Lake, was cited for illegal transport of open alcohol.
Monica Rosales, 47, of the 400 block of Hillside Drive, Bensenville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended driver's license, unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, driving without insurance and operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic communication device at 6:10 p.m. April 11.
DUI Jose Carrillo-Garcia, 31, of the 100 block of South Villa Avenue, Addison, was charged with driving under the influence and possession of open alcohol at 1:48 a.m. April 9.
Serinity Perez, 21, of the 900 block of East Babcock Avenue, Addison, was charged with driving under the influence, two counts of domestic battery, trespass to a motor vehicle, improper lane use and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 4:40 a.m. April 9.
Manuel Musso, 43, of the 600 block of North Harvard Avenue, Villa Park, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and driving without a valid driver's license at 7:07 p.m. April 10.
A resident reported April 11 messaging with a female named Tina about Snow Coin/Stable Coin cryptocurrency. The victim transferred money from his bitcoin account to the Snow Coin account. When he attempted to remove the money he was told that over a period of a month the money was slowly being taken out of his account.
Police are investigating after representative of Elmhurst Extended Care, 200 E. Lake St., reported four fraudulent checks were computer generated from the business account and made out to suspects on April 7 and April 8.
A resident reported on April 10 that an unknown person opened a Wells Fargo Bank account using his information. The account has been closed.
An owner of McGuin HVAC, 300 N. Maple Ave., reported on April 11 two incidents of unauthorized use of a credit card to purchase Amazon gift cards.
A resident reported on April 12 that an unknown person filed an income tax return using the victim's identification. The victim has filed paperwork with the Internal Revenue Service disputing the filing.
An unknown person opened a Chase Bank checking account in a resident's name, as reported on March 31.
The pastor of Bethel Assembly of God, 503 W. North Ave., found a personal checking account in New Jersey was opened using the pastor's personal information and linked to the church's account between April 1 and April 5.
A white Toyota Sienna, left unattended and running at 201 E. Butterfield Rd., was taken by two or three men at 8:10 p.m. April 13. Officers located the vehicle westbound on North Avenue before it sped north on Interstate 355.
A white mountain bike was reported stolen from a driveway in the 500 block of S. Rex Boulevard between 8:32 p.m. and 11:32 p.m. April 8.
A case of White Claw hard seltzer was reported taken from 7-Eleven, 525 S. Spring Rd., at 7:02 p.m. April 13 by a white male 16 to 20 years old wearing a white hoodie with a black logo on the left chest.
Udi Tomas Garcia, 28, of the 200 block of West Sonny Lane, Bensenville, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license, improper lane use and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle at 8:14 p.m. April 17.
Macario Lopez Garcia, 21, of the 1000 block of Ferrari Drive, Bensenville, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license, operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic communication device and illegally tinted windows at 4:07 p.m. April 8.
Trevon Pitts, 25, of the 1300 block of East 71st Place, Chicago, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license, operating a vehicle with suspended registration and driving without insurance at 2:11 a.m. April 9.
Daniel Flyke, 65, of the 1400 block of Lee Avenue, Melrose Park, was charged with driving with a revoked driver's license, operating a motor vehicle with registration suspended for failure to have insurance, driving without insurance and failing to yield exiting a private drive at 1:04 p.m. April 10.
Carlos Ramos, 30, of the 2900 block of Monitor Avenue, Chicago, was cited for speeding, improper lane use and driving without insurance at 3:28 a.m. April 12.
Khalid Bryant, 24, of the 6500 block of 16th Street, Berwyn, was charged with driving with illegally tinted windows, driving with suspended registration and driving without insurance at 9:55 p.m. April 12.
Julio Teneval, 49, of the 400 block of North Princeton Avenue, Villa Park, was charged with disobeying a traffic control device, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended driver's license at 4:44 p.m. April 13.
Jose Lara Guerrero, 28, of the 4900 block of West Hutchinson Street, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license, driving without insurance, driving on the shoulder of the road and driving on unsafe tires at 5:44 p.m. April 13.
